Family House OPAL
OPAL is a single-family house with a distinctive architectural identity, set in a green environment by the Dermendere river. The project uses the qualities of the site to make the natural setting part of the living experience itself.
Architectural concept
Generous rooms, high ceilings, and extensive glazing create a home filled with light and visual openness. The internal schemes flow naturally into one another, while each zone is designed to adapt to different ways of living.
The kitchen, dining, and living zone are organized as one coherent and comfortable space with a strong focus on views and natural light.
Architectural decisions are directed toward greater depth, visual lightness, and a stronger connection between the different levels of the house.
The bedroom level offers privacy and scale, while the main suite is conceived as a premium apartment within the house itself.
OPAL is a project in which aesthetics, comfort, and the character of the site work in the same direction.
Construction and materials
Stone and wood cladding, carefully selected finishes, and high-grade building systems define a project with a clear contemporary identity.
Materiality is developed to provide durability, comfort, and long-term visual value.
The structure is monolithic reinforced concrete with 25 cm external clay-brick enclosure walls with exterior thermal insulation, and 12 cm internal partition walls.
The materials selected for your home are top-tier products from the construction market to deliver a cozy and energy-efficient home:
- Building systems and materials by Wienerberger.
- System waterproofing and thermal insulation solutions by Weber.
- High-end German window systems by Salamander.

Yard and surroundings
The yard is designed with lawn and low vegetation, including flowers and shrubs. A grass-joint pathway is also integrated, contributing to a greener and more natural outdoor character.
